The sun awoke in a beautiful mist of bright orangeish colors. The horizon reflected off of her face as she stared back into it like a mirror.
Maybe, this was her and Bricke. Before everything corrupted. When everything was perfect. But as soon as Lutchi thought of her and Bricke back when nothing was wrong (or perhaps everything was wrong, they just didn't know it yet) her fists tightened and she shut her eyes, blocking out the horizon that she once embraced. She rested her head on the ledge as she pounded her fist into it. Her face had the look of pure pain on it. Nothing could cure it is what it seemed like.
Lutchi lifted her head up and breathed in and out slowly as she rested her eyes on the horizon once more. She slowly slipped her hand into her pocket and pulled out the letter from Lucinda (go to Lutchi's post office to find out who Lucinda is).
She was angry. She was sad. She wanted to hit something. She wanted to cry....She hadn't cried in forever. Since before she met Bricke which was a long time ago. She didn't want to cry at all, she'd rather hide the pain and have no one find out. Her fists were so tight that her nails were digging into her skin. Her anger reminded her of Aleze. And her fight with Aleze reminded her of Bricke's words to her.
Fighting is useless. One may think they won, but they just end up losing their next fight.
Lutchi couldn't keep fighting. Not like this. She had to fix things between her and Aleze, it was her promise to Bricke not to fight for stupid, pointless reasons.
She looked at the letter one last time before she ripped it into pieces. She slowly unraveled her hands letting the scraps of the painful letter fly in the wind. In her way, the letters flying through the wind, was like accepting that Bricke was gone. That he was never going to speak to Lutchi again. No matter what.

Aleze drew up short. Lutchi had just torn a some sort of paper to shreds, and was letting it float away. She forced herself to ignore the horizon and an overwhelming feeling of sympathy filled her when Lutchi turned her head enough that Aleze could see her face. She looked.. miserable.
"Lutchi?" She bgean. "Um, are you alright? I mean I came up to talk, but if now's a bad time, I mean... we can still talk." Even if Lutchi did hate her, Aleze was never one to turn down someone in need. And Lutchi looked like she seriously needed a friend. Aleze was more then willing to help her find one.

Luthi lifted her head up towards the sun. She looked over a little but not enough to make eye contact with Aleze. She licked her lips to moisten them up since the wind had dried them in the morning mist. She walked away from the ledge and as she passed Aleze she said without looking at her "I'm not fighting anymore." Then she walked down the stair well saying all she needed to say.

Aleze raised her brows, and tortted to catch up with Lutchi. "Thank God. If you hadn't said it, i would have. I mean, we can't room together and act like we hate each other." She paused.
"But I would like to elaborate on that. I, mean... I don't wanna just not fight. I wanna be friends. Friends: good, ya know?"

"Whatever." Lutchi shrugged. Not in a mean way, and not in a nice way. But in a way that meant she didn't care whether or not they wer friends or enemies or nothing at all. She just wanted to do the only thing Bricke asked her to do. Not fight for stupid reasons. She just didn't want to fight. At least not right now.

"Good. Whatever. Good." Aleze said somehwat awkwardly. This wasn't at all easy, butthen, by now she had come to expect that from Lutchi. "So, can I convince you to get rid of all that ice? I have a feeling most of it's not melted yet." She grinned in a friendly, but playful way, as if she didn't at all care about their past differences.

Lutchi looked back at Aleze for a quick second while she continued to walk back to their dorm. "Since you were so mad at me, did you switch anything while I was out?"

"I'm not suprised." Lutchi says. "I'll move it when I get back to our dorm. It shouldn't be that hard to move." Lutchi said turning the hallway to the left. Her dorm was only a few feet away.

Lutchi didn't say anything back. She just turned the knob and the door swung open. Shards of glass and ice lay all over their bedroom floor. The ice that Lutchi had froze to the door was cracked all over the place as well. The window was the same as well. If you looked at everything, it looked like a bomb of ice and glass went off.
"I'll get the dustpan for the glass. I can pick up the ice on my own."

"Oh, no worries." Aleze's gaze swept to the floor, and the shards of glass rose into the air. "Where do you want em?" She asked with a friendly smile.

"Just, put 'em out the window." Lutchi said miserable. She put her hand out in front of her and in a moment the color of a blue crystal errupted out from her palm. The ice began to tremble and in another second, the ice levitated an inch off of the floor. The ice zoomed into Lutchi's palm and then she shut her hand, making a fist and then re-opening it again, making it look like she never used her power in the first place.
"I'm goanna go to bed. Wake me when it's five." She said again speaking slowly and her eyes dropping as she slowly headed towards her bed.

Aleze nodded. "No problem." She muttered, then yawned. "Eh. I suppose I'll sleep a little longer myself." She had slept far better than Lutchi had, but still, she felt tired. She set an alarm quickly and climbed into bed.
