 Elaine's Mail
« Thread Started on May 14, 2008, 11:16pm »

Dear Elaine,
How's school going? Its lonely here without you, although there aren't any mobs since you left, but thats a bad thing isn't it. I hope you have fun, you'll tell me any news right? You're parents called again. They asked if they could send you a letter, I said they could but I know how you feel about them so I told them not to expect a reply. Your old school called, don't ask me why, but they asked if you wanted to come back (I personally think they want you as a way to let off some steam) but I said that you were going to a new school, of course nothing about what type of school. Please send a letter back honey.

Your loving aunt Layla.

Hey Layla,

School is school but we have different subjects here. Like Power Control (yay!) and Defense of Dark Powers, I don't really get that one but I probably will eventually. About my parents, I don't think I will send them anything unless they tell me something really important. I don't really want to talk (or write) about them anymore, whats done is done and I'm happy not knowing them.

I really don't care what that school thinks, they tried to beat me up! So lets talk (or write) about more pleasant topics. Like how's old Mr Ginley? I hope he's still in good health, he did take me in when I ran away. Anyway do you still plan on getting a dog? It would be good and hopefully it'll like me when I come home for holidays or whatever. Thats all I can think of to write so I'll be waiting for your next letter.

Your fave niece Elaine.

Elaine,

This may seem slightly awkward but we really do care. I know it may seem as though we didn't love you because of your powers but we do love you. We know that we only just tried to contact you but that was because it was hard to find you two in Australia. Please do write to us, we want to fix this.

Sincerely Your Parents

Elaine,
Just so you know that I gave this letter to your aunt who sent it on, she isn't telling anyone what the address for your school is although I don't know why. I heard from your aunt that you are going to a new school, a boarding school. I hope that what happened at our school doesn't happen at yours. Just to let you know, the rebuilding of the school is underway and lessons are now being sent home. I don't blame you for what happened, if it was me I would've done the same thing. Tom, Sam and Ellie's parents are still pissed at you 'cause they died, I hope they get over it. Well, aside from my ramblings I wanted to say thank you, you tried to stop what you caused and thats probably the reason why we who survived did, I'm just sorry for the friends we lost. I hope you send back to me, we moved and just send it to your aunt and she'll pass it on to me. I don't know if we can be friends again but I just wanted to say what I said in this letter and I don't blame you if you just ignore this.

Sally.

Dear Sally,
Its good to hear that things are getting better, even if only slightly, and I'm glad to hear that I didn't stop the school from doing its job. Could you please those parents (I can't say our friends names anymore, it hurts too much) that I'm really sorry and that I tried what I could to stop it from happening. I am also sorry for the people that I......killed...... I really couldn't help it and just to let you know I am finding ways to prevent events like that fro happening again.

Dear Elaine,

We know that you hate us but please do write to us, we left our new address in the other letter. We want to tell you why we did what we did but we didn't think you were ready, and your mother still thinks your not. Maybe saying that we want to fix it wasn't the right word to say, we want to get to know you and for you to get to know us. We want to bridge the gap that has grown over these 15 years. So please do reply to this letter, we do care.

Sincerely your parents.

Hello Elaine,
As to your previous question Mr Ginley is still in good health, as fit as he ever was and I am still planning on getting a dog, it is definately more lonely without you here, I was thinking either a Labrador or a golden retriever. And so that you don't get bored I sent in all your books that you couldn't bring on the plane and I hope you like it. Oh and the house is actually clean now that you left (finally, haha) So i can actually see the floor in your old room. Thats all the news I have, waiting for your next letter.

Layla.

Layla,
Thank you soooooooooo much for the books!!!!! I was getting kinda bored with my limited collection so thanks! It's really good to hear that Mr Ginley is doing well, and I think you should get the labrador. And haha, you are sooo hilarious (sarcasm over). I just hope that you can keep the house clean, some of it was your mess too you know. I got some homework today, I'm slightly depressed but at least it isn't math. Thats all I have to tell right now so waiting til your next letter.

Dear Elaine,
I'm glad to hear that you are trying to learn, I hope you can control your power fully (maybe even control a full size tornado). I did tell them how sorry you are, but only Sam's parents are even considering forgiving you, and I think thats because you two loved each other (yes, we all knew about it, even if you two didn't). I'm sorry if this letter causes you anymore pain than you are already feeling, it hurts to even write it.

But on to more happy topics, I finally aced my science test, it was all thanks to you and Tom so I thank you. ( I already thanked him.... well his grave anyway). I saw your Layla's new labby, he's soooooooo cute. She called him Tobi, how cute!
Hoping you reply,
Sally

Sally,
That is such a cute name for a dog!! I'm glad that you finally aced a test. (just kidding) There are some really weird people at my school, but atleast they are leaving me alone, might be a bit bad if they didn't.

I'm starting to make some new friends (yay), so I'm not completely alone, which is really good. Are you making some new friends?

Ok, I need some advice. And yes I am asking you.
My parents say that they will tell me everything, and I mean everything if they think I am ready, and my dad (cringe) says that I can show that I am ready if I send them a letter in reply. So should I? I don't want to talk to them, but I am curious as to what they mean....
what should I do?
Eli
