Lutchi made her way past the central market and into the mystical creature section. She was amazed at how many different types of species of mythical creatures there were. She read about some of them and heard stories about some, but she never imagined most of the ones she set her eyes upon now. They were so unique...and so rare...and so expensive! Lutchi's eyes widened as she held the price tag of one creature in her hand. She couldn't believe it.
To make this kind of money, you would have to be the position of every single staff member at Ammerson and you would have to save your entire salary for over a year! And the staff at Ammerson got pai extremley well.
"Excuse me, why are these prices so high? How do you expect people to buy these things?" Lutchi asked the shop owner. The lady looked old and dirty, as if she had been living on the streets her entire life.
The lady scoffed. "Young one, how do we not expect someone to pay this much for just one of these creatures. They are so rare, and so beautiful and unique. You cannot possibly expect me to just give these beautiful creatures away for such a low cost. How ridiculous!" The lady spat on the ground as if it were clearing some kind of curse.
Lutchi was becoming a bit weirded out so she decided to just put down the price tag and walk away. Maybe, she though, I'll find something I can actually afford in the supply market?
